Candida Colon Cleanse
Candida is shortened name for Candida Albicans. This is a type of fungi spore commonly known as yeast. This
spore is actually a part of our bodies. It lives in our
muccous membranes. When our
bodies are healthy, it stays in check by the presence of healthy bacteria. However, when our bodies are unhealthy,
then the yeast can grow out of control. This is what causes what is commonly known as yeast infections, or
thrush. Anyone who has suffered with any of these conditions knows already that while they aren't fun, it's
not entirely life threatening.
Having said that, having candida overgrowth can impede one's health and their quality of life. A person
can also develop candida overgrowths in their bowels. When this happens, they will develop symptoms that are
commonly associated with IBS. This can be especially true in the case of constipation. The longer that the
colon stays clogged up and dirty, the more yeast will grow. They love to grow in acidic environments. A
dirty colon will have a low, acid ph. The key then is to get the ph moving in another direction, and to kill
off the candida that is causing the issue, or least get it back into control.
So, a person might undertake a Candida colon cleanse. What this entails is
when a person takes serveral steps to get the candida out of their system. They can do this with
colonics. This involves going to a practitioner who will clean the whole track of the colon. This rinses out
the candida. Otherwise, a person will have to make certain changes to their diet to clean it out. This means
getting rid of sugary, starchy, and fermented foods. All of these work out well for people.
